Let’s take a moment to respect the pail by thinking outside of it for a minute. To fully think outside the bucket, flip it over, grab a pair of drum sticks and go to town on it. Now let’s add some comedy, guitars, tap dancing, and everything else under the sun. Sounds like a blast right?
That’s what two talented gentlemen, Matthew Levingston and Gareth Sever, are doing in Missouri with Buckets N Boards Comedy Percussion Show. Starting 6 years ago as street performers, their show evolved into something that can’t fully be explained in words. Differentiating themselves from everyone else, Matt and Gareth use comedy, rhythm, tap, and a wide variety of talents to create a visually and audibly stunning performance. Specializing in anything from Concerts to Big Budget Hollywood Blockbusters (weather permitting of course), Matt and Gareth use the power of rhythm and 6 gallon pails to develop a percussion masterpiece that needs to be seen as well as heard. See for yourself.

The reason they use the 6 gallon pail is because it’s sturdier and can handle the banging the drum sticks inflict. Matt and Gareth also sell 2 gallon pails with sticks to inspire children to be as creative as they are. Having kids themselves, they not only strive to entertain but visually display the importance of the arts.
Thanks to the help of our buddy, Mr. Pail, all this is possible. The pail has so much to offer us. Take a moment to post about ways to use a pail to not only appreciate but inspire us all.
